Brook Lodge Farm Camping & Caravan Park - Bristol

Family Run Country Touring Park Est. 1957

Brook Lodge situated in the historic hamlet of Cowslip Green the home of Hannah More, dates from the 1730´s. The stream winds its way along four acres of grass park, sheltered by mature native trees, with an abundance of flowers and wildlife.
Trout fishing can be found at the world famous Blagdon Lake which is 2 miles away.
The area is considered by historians worldwide to be a heritage site of considerable significance. John Locke who was a philosopher, statesman and writer of much of the American constitution was born in this area. It is an area for walking, birdwatching and cycling through the labyrinth of country lanes.

Brook Lodge is constantly reviewing & implementing new ways to improve the environment of the park in all aspects. To protect and increase the flora & fauna that we are lucky enough to have here, for example construction of wildlife corridor 2002, bat box’s, tree conservation area, recycling point, solar water heating e.t.c., thus improving this environment for visitors from all around the world.
Brook Lodge Farm has a green policy and also a non smoking policy all buildings.

 

The park is ideally situated as a touring centre with easy access off the A38 for the historic maritime city of Bristol, the famous World Heritage city
of Bath, Wells, Glastonbury & the Mendip Hills.
