Environment Policy

At this camping and caravan park respect for the environment is an integral part in the running of our business in this historic hamlet of Cowslip Green.

-         Reduce electrical energy by high efficiency light bulbs and freezer also P.I.R switching.

-         Low power lighting  as not to disturb wildlife

-         Water saving wherever possible also the use of rain water.

-        Waste recycling – glass, cans, paper, plastic and composting food waste.

-         We promote the use of local produce, shops, pubs and use of local craftspeople.

-        We encourage the use of bicycles and footpaths by providing our information maps.

-         At present we are constructing a wildlife corridor by planting native trees, plants, placing bird/bat boxes,  thus increasing the native flora & fauna.

-         The protection of the ancient rookery that we have at the lower end of the park.
